Don't vote.

That's right. Stay home. Don't go to the polls. Don't participate in our democracy. I don't want you to.

Quite frankly, if you can't motivate your own damn self to vote, I have no interest in trying to encourage you to do so, and I don't know why anybody else does, either. There's that guy who's giving away 1 million dollars to a random voter. So, essentially a bribe to vote. What possible purpose could this serve? There's no reason to get people to vote if their vote is uninformed (which you have to assume it is. If they don't care enough to vote, the chances are good that they don't care enough to educate themselves about the issues).

An informed vote is invaluable. An uninformed vote is worthless. It's less than worthless. It's simply a bunch of noise that threatens to wash out the votes that matter.

So stay home.
