Geeks reach out

Those of you who are both ubergeeks like myself and also want to help with the horrible aftermath of Hurricane Katrina might want to check out this auction. Organized by Brian Michael Bendis' (comic writer) message board and endorsed by him, it's an online auction where all of the monies received will be donated to the Red Cross relief effort. Comic book creators like Bendis, Robert Kirkman, Michael Oeming, David Mack and others have contributed or plan to contribute items such as orignal art and signed scripts, etc. The items are still coming in, but there's some cool stuff there already. So check it out. Pick up some geek memorabilia for yourself and give to a worthy cause at the same time.
